Plaque p**p party!

Last week I had a KAREN!
She tried to tell me how to do my job. Honestly seemed like she had severe trust issues. With me especially. "Why do you have to take BP? Why do you have to know everything about my medical health? All I want is a cleaning? You need all this just to clean my teeth?" Eye rolling and snooty attitude.
I tried my hardest to tell her that if I needed to call the paramedics for her they will want to know! And I treat all my patients like they are family to me. But she kept belittling me and interrupting me. I told her I could lose my license over you for not doing my job correctly and stepped out and immediately got the dentist.

Once the dentist came in, her attitude was a 180.

Folks, please let us do our jobs! Your mouth is very connected to your body. "Your mouth is an open window" if you have underlying conditions, we really need to know to help better serve you!

We are proud to go to work.

I know many of you return to work tomorrow or this month, and it is scary, but I promise it will be okay. Be flexible, be strong, be creative, and be proud! You are so needed and remember that now more than ever these kids need your 💙 and support.

We’ve got this (teachers, hygienists, and all healthcare providers) and this too shall pass!

Just thought you could use a little encouragement from some people who have felt what you feel.
