I've been a bit disconnected from social media lately and for good reason. If you have never heard the story of how started, it all began with this cancer survivor, my mom. 🎗 She suffered horribly with side effects in her mouth from chemotherapy and I was shocked and frustrated with the lack of information and support available for both patients and providers in this area. I knew she was not alone with these experiences, and I needed to take action!

The past year+, I became a full-time, tag-team caregiver for Mom following her Alzheimer's diagnosis. We were determined to care for her at home as long as possible. Having the time and attention to focus on Side Effect Support was limited to say the least (but we're still here and serving people each day).

Mom passed away on August 6th. While there is profound sadness in that loss, I also feel a renewed sense of purpose. It's time to dedicate more energy to building SES and continuing her legacy.
