Our Meadows residents recently enjoy a visit from Maggie Bird!

Our residents were treated to two special visits from talented young people last week! The Donegal Rhythm Singers performed at Mount Joy Country Homes and the Manheim Township Middle School Orchestra performed at the main Pleasant View campus.

Celebrating Pleasant View’s 71st year with fresh strawberries & ice cream and live music from the Lampeter Strasburg Community Band 🍓🎵 Strawberries are from and were sliced by resident volunteers. Happy Founders Week Pleasant View! 🎉

We are excited to offer the AARP Safe Driver Course on June 8 and June 10 in the Kreider Farms Cultural Center. This course is a great opportunity to refresh your driving skills, learn current rules of the road, and potentially qualify for insurance discounts. Today we remember and celebrate the bravery of those who sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸🕊️

The house was packed today as we celebrated and said farewell to our beloved Diane Jacobs. For 43 years, she impacted the lives of countless Pleasant View residents through working as an activity aide, social worker, and finally as Director of Residential Living. Happy Retirement, Diane! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who helped make Community Day a success!!! Special shout-out to Life Lion EMS, Penryn Fire Company No. 1, and Northern Lancaster Regional Police Department for participating. Thank you to the volunteers from LCBC Church and students from the Manheim Central School District Interact Club for helping run the event. And of course thank you to our Community Engagement Coordinator Aubrey Smith for organizing Community Day every year!!!
