Last Monday, Speedwell Team members Dave Morris, Pete Wittmaier, Pete Beers and owner Keith Ebersole were part of the LBC Charger Challenge Golf Tournament.

The fundraiser benefits The Community Scholarship Fund at Lancaster Bible College, which provides much-needed funding to students to help make their educational dreams possible. In fact, 99% of LBC on-campus undergraduate students benefit from the Community Scholarship Fund.

Happy Groundbreaking to Eagle Hospitality who is partnering with Speedwell to build a TownePlace Suites in Lehighton, PA!

Lehighton is in between Wilkes-Barre and Allentown, near the popular tourist spots of Jim Thorpe, Mauch Chunk Lake State Park and Blue Mountain Ski Resort. This is the second TownePlace Suites by Marriott that Speedwell has done, having just recently completed one in Pottsville, PA. Stay tuned for construction updates!

Congratulations to John Glick on his promotion to Safety Coordinator!

John is originally from Lancaster County and graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High school and then the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA with a degree in Building Construction Technology.

Before joining Speedwell, he was a superintendent with two local companies specializing in residential and commercial construction. John joined the Speedwell team in 2018 as a job site Superintendent and has managed a variety of projects including an Aldi, a Fairfield Inn, Penn State Health, Dove Westgate church, the Annville Library and most recently a Woodspring Suites hotel in Lancaster, PA. He loves the fact that Speedwell cares for him and his family so well.

John has always been interested in continually improving the construction management process, especially in the area of safety. He has completed the OSHA 30-hour course and specialized training with safety specialist Bill Odoms. He is looking forward to continuing to improve the training and safety procedures of Speedwell as the safety coordinator.

John lives in Elizabethtown with his wife Erika and teenage children Ava, Addison, and Aidan. When not working he enjoys working on home improvement projects and volunteering at his church, Christian Life Assembly, with the Royal Rangers program and the KidsTown security team.

Logan grew up just outside of the Twin Cities in Minnesota early in life, but spent most of his childhood in Frederick, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland, and prior to joining Speedwell, worked as an Assistant Project Manager for a commercial landscape and hardscape company.

Logan joined Speedwell in 2024 as a Project Engineer. He says "What I enjoy most about working at Speedwell is the people. Everyone is supportive, uplifting, and genuinely wants to see each other succeed. It is a great environment to learn, grow, and take on new opportunities."

Logan's family includes his mom, Melissa, sister Riley and stepdad, Ken, who also works at Speedwell as the Vice-President of Construction of the Charlotte Office. Outside of work, Logan says he enjoys golfing poorly, spending time with friends, and spending Sundays watching the Vikings win football games!

Faith Christian Academy's Health & Wellness Center has the steel up and concrete poured and is now moving on to exterior cladding and interior MEPs. The new center will support the school's robust athletics program with additional training space, a gym, locker rooms, classrooms, and offices. Keep watching for more updates this summer!

The baseball and softball fields at Messiah University are getting a facelift! New dugouts and a press box will make things look brand new for the Falcons' home on the south side of campus! Construction starts later this month to get ready for next school year. Owners Travis Ebersole, Bryant and Sheldon Myer and Project Manager Sam Counts are all Messiah Alumni, so they'll know their way around campus! Stay tuned for more updates as the project gets going!
