Although being selected as an Honorable Mention does not garner any physical prizes, you are still considered to be an ISC winner. With almost 13,000 entries from more than 112 countries, only 1% of all entries made it to Honorable Mention, so you should be extremely proud of this accomplishment. My mama came for a visit. 🥰 Here is pretty much the exact same picture of us over and over and over 🤠

Today, on World Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Day, I wanted to share some pictures of real-life superheroes, some of whom are still with us physically, and others who have moved on to become angels, remaining with us spiritually. I had the great privilege of getting to know so many of these kids, and what I always LOVED was that when I asked if I could interview them, they would typically be a bit shy, and at first, some were reluctant, but when I explained to them that their stories could help so many people out there, it was the sweetest thing in the world...they all said YES! The "shyness" vanished, and they poured their hearts out in honor of helping others.

P.S. I’m including a picture of my friend Ornah Levy because she was just like a kid (as am I). She and I always joked about the fact that we were about five years old and didn't plan to ever "grow up."

PH is a devastating and insidious disease. May there be a cure one day VERY soon!!!

Post-double-lung transplant mole check + biopsy. Found a weird one on the bottom of my foot. Amazing that these little spots can be absolutely nothing or a whole lot of something. Ideally they are nothing but if they are something, by keeping tabs on them, they can ideally become nothing. My poem of the day + an unreasonable amount of “thumbs up.” 🤠 Thank you, 💜
