This took about 6 1/2 hours to make on a Tuesday in May, I used about 15 pairs of jeans (some vintage and all repurposed) to complete the backdrop and my forearms were on fire from cutting denim. All worth it, it’s all about the process, never about the expectation around how it should turn out. Just make it about the work, and it’ll be perfectly itself.

This house concert was the hardest show to pull of yet! All the decorations, sound, recording equipment, seating, food, and cleaning took weeks but it was all so worth it for such a huge success. The show had its twists and turns as well, ending with Nat and I convincing the cops that the party was over and people were leaving 🚔 they were chill as all heck and loved the music so thank you to the Karen across the street for calling them I made new friends :)

Can’t wait for the next show, how’s NOV sound??
