My dear - you did it again ❤️ being artistic director of the gala is a Herculean effort but this year’s Apollo & Psyche edition somehow outdid the last. The artist lineup was fantastic, the purpose laudable, and the location phenomenal (my first time there). Very curious to see how you’re going to top this next year…!!! Love you! Pics by the great

🛩️🚢 Next Friday, February 13, I’ll be speaking aboard the historic research vessel ROBERT GRAY at Pier 25 in Manhattan. stewards a WWII-era ship. I steward a 1943 Boeing Stearman biplane. Next week, our two worlds come together as and I talk honestly about what it takes to preserve WWII machines-and why keeping them alive matters now more than ever.

I’ll also be sharing my short documentary The Missing Airmen of WWII, followed by an evening of champagne, knot-tying, aviation, maritime history, and living stewardship. You’ll leave with stories, connections, and a small piece of stewardship in your pocket.

Hope to see you on the water with us. Get your ticket via link in bio.

During WWII, the Women Airforce Service Pilots ( ) were civilian women flying U.S. military aircraft. Some needed parachutes or cushions just to see past the cowling 🛩️

“It’s the kind of airplane where you have to show the airplane who the boss is”
Raised in a military household, Rod later flew his father in his own Boeing Stearman.
Halfway through my cross-country flight, I met Rod at Stearman Field, not far from where the aircraft was originally built. We flew formation, followed by aerobatics, and talked about why the Stearman became the backbone of WWII flight training.

Happy Mother’s Day to my Mama on behalf of me, my brother and sister (and of course Northrop Grumman, who is dictating this caption—see slide 8) ❤️

You’ve been through a lot these past couple of years but have resurfaced true to form and are biking through Amsterdam again as if brain surgery never happened. You are one of those few people who can draw lines on paper and make them come to life (a skill l sadly did not inherit 🫠) and are a wonderful writer. You taught us to paint, to love animals, be outdoorsy, sing, make music, and to care about the things that matter. I love you from NYC to Amsterdam and back!
