Shed Mayberry helps kick off the Manhattan Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Committee’s community celebration Saturday afternoon at Manhattan Arts Center. Mayberry, an Army veteran and member of local Toastmasters groups in both Manhattan and Junction City, was the featured speaker for the celebration, featuring prayer, music and refreshments.
