Today's update comes from Josh Roe, Kansas Corn CEO, farming in both Jewell and Republic County, after last week's hailstorm:

"A 30% chance of scattered storms Saturday afternoon turned into a significant hailstorm for parts of NC KS. Hail damage reports range from Burr Oak to Scandia and south. Roughly 1/3 of our acres were subject to hail up to tennis ball in size and appear to be a total loss.

We're scrambling now to see if there are any replant options and need to rethink our marketing plan because that corn is normally contracted as high moisture corn for the feedlot."

agreement helps save American households about $700 a year on food
costs—equal to roughly 7% of annual grocery spending.

Affordable food matters to every family, which is why preserving strong North
