"When my grandfather purchased the designs for this property and built 555 Madison from the first floor up in the early 1960s, he envisioned an elegant place of business on Madison Avenue and a gathering place for forward thinking professionals.

Building on that foundation, as family owned and operated for three generations, my vision is to continue fostering a thriving, friendly community where tenants know each other and feel invested in the building we all inhabit.

I am filled with optimism for the year ahead. I know this community feels the same. Over the last two years the consistent stream of tenants, walking through the doors of 555 on a daily basis illustrates that we have been able to create a safe and welcoming space during an uneasy time. Happy Halloween! 🕷️

We are sure that visitors and tenants to 555 Madison are being 'wowed' by 's halloween display in our front lobby. It is really quite spectacular and undoubtedly will get everyone in the mood.

Tenants and staff can enjoy a trick or more like a treat as we give out Halloween treat bags filled with handmade gourmet chocolates from , Manhattan's oldest chocolate house since 1923.

BREATHE with ease at 555 Madison

We have installed UV air filtration in the building's main air supply system. All building air passes through this system and is disinfected before it is distributed.

UV air filtration uses short-wave ultraviolet light (UV-C light) to kill bacteria and viruses, like COVID-19, with an efficacy rate of 99.9%.

Another layer of clean air security for our community.

We are hosting a breakfast gathering for tenants and staff to welcome them back after their summer break, serving coffee, bagels, pastries and fresh fruit.

CLEANER AIR at 555 Madison

We are committed to enhancing the environment and the air we share at 555 Madison. To ensure our building air is as clean as possible, we have taken precautionary measures by enhancing our air filtration system.

We have upgraded our air filters from MERV-8 to MERV-15 filters. MERV stands for 'Minimum Effective Reporting Value', a measurement showing how small the holes are in the filter. The higher the MERV number, the smaller the holes.

MERV-15 filters have been shown to reduce the presence of bacteria and viruses, like COVID-19. We change the filters frequently, in fact, twice as much the normal industry standard.

The flower arrangements in our lobby are created by Belgian florist, Charles Terhout.

Besides our building, Charles creates stunning arrangements for designers and events at , and as well as for building lobbies and tenants on Park and Fifth Avenues.

We love his citrinum orchid arrangement currently in our lobby, a welcoming piece for all who walk into 555 Madison.

ICE POP SOCIAL

In true 555 Madison community spirit, we are hosting an end of summer celebration for all tenants and staff in the lobby.

We are serving up frozen pop treats made from a variety of flavours and containing no artificial ingredients, colors or flavorings. Vegan-friendly too.

Come join us Wednesday August 25, in the lobby from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
