Applications for State Cost Share on eligible conservation projects are now being accepted in Riley and Geary counties. The application deadline May 31, 2026, for the upcoming State Fiscal Year. Please contact your local conservation district to apply or for additional information.

Annual Meeting – Riley County Conservation District
Please make plans to attend the Riley County Conservation District’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Our meeting will be held at Pottorf Hall at the Riley County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 6:00pm for registration sign-in. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm and the Annual Meeting will begin by 7:15pm.
This is the 77th Annual Meeting of our District. The Board of Supervisors will present the 2025 Annual Report and Treasurer’s Report. Two Board Supervisor positions will be elected to a three-year term, and the Water Quality Award and Grassland Award will be presented.
Attendance is encouraged and reservations are required. To make a reservation, please phone 785-537-8764, ext. 3, send an email message to [email protected], or stop by our office at 3705 Miller Parkway in Manhattan to RSVP.
