Infinite Vision

Dancing out the door after graduating from Vision Therapy! 🕺 Even though he really doesn't want to leave us he has accomplished what he set out to do. He enjoys reading more, sees all the pop flys in baseball (he couldn't see any before) and he now has better eye teaming and control. That's a reason to dance for sure!

Goals are an important part of the Vision Therapy process. When this sweet, hard working bundle of energy began VT her goals were 1. To not need a finger to help her keep her place when reading. 2. See little words better. 3. Stop her eyes from "multiplying things". It was not easy working towards accomplishing these but she did not give up and always did what she needed to do to get there. She met her goals and has now graduated Vision Therapy with better tracking, eye teaming and focusing skills! She is what we like to call a "Vision Therapy Superstar". 🌟🎉🎓

It was Dr. Katie's third year as Clinical Director of the Opening Eyes Program. She and her team provided vision screenings to athletes participating in the 2026 State Summer Games. It was truly a rewarding experience meeting the outstanding athletes who competed this past weekend. 🏅🇺🇸

Starting off the week strong! Vision Therapy is complete for our graduate. He told us he will miss coming to his weekly sessions but he feels it helped him better determine where to swing when playing tennis and that he has better control of his eyes. We love to hear how far our patients come in the time they are with us! Congratulations young man! 🎉👏

Precision matters, in baseball and for your eyes.​

When the front surface of your eye, called the cornea, is evenly round like a baseball, light focuses at the same point in your eye, causing clear vision. When it has two different curvatures like a football, light focuses at two different points, and vision can appear blurry or distorted. That difference in curvature is called astigmatism.​

The good news: it's common and treatable. A comprehensive eye exam can diagnose it and recommend the right treatment. ​

Big Cheers for our Vision Therapy graduate!! 📣 She loved showing us her cheers each week and even worked them into her Vision Therapy activities. She made great progress with sustaining fixation while tracking! We are cheering her on and know she has a bright future ahead!!
