We are officially two weeks out from baby #3's due date. I can't tell if I'm more excited to meet our new arrival or nervous about having three under age 4 in the house. In the meantime, I'll just share some of sweet baby J's Fresh 48 session.

Summertime and the livin's easy .... summer break is upon us down south and we are having lots of adventures. Our family is spending plenty of time at the pool but this week, the boys and I went blueberry picking. I absolutely love fresh blueberries! They remind me of childhood summers at our lake cabin, picking wild blueberries and my grandmother's blueberry pie. What is your favorite blueberry recipe?

It's been a beautiful spring week here (minus the rain yesterday and today, wah wah) with perfect blue skies, warm enough for t-shirts sunshine and longer days. We've been eating dinner late all week, too busy playing outside, digging for worms, taking walks and inspecting the flowers. It was a week of fresh ice tea with a good friend, windows open, muddy dogs and a little spring time indulgence of lemon cake which was so tart and delicious. I may have to make another one. We finished off the week having family photos taken by the awesome Erika Pearce Photography. I hope you all are enjoying spring too.

I promised myself I would pick up my camera more this year, for fun and for business. To help me with that, I joined a few challenge groups, including a 365 challenge. Although I'm sure I've missed a day or two already, I have definitely documented my wild little family more. Sometimes that's not always appreciated (judging by the mean mugging my older boy has been giving the camera) but I know I'll look back on these photos and cherish them. So not to overwhelm everyone, I'm only sharing a few of my January favorites. I hope everyone is well on this rainy Tuesday.

It is a rainy and COLD day here in Louisiana. But I've got a sleeping baby, hot coffee, Christmas music and photos to edit so things are feeling nice and cozy. It's crazy that just yesterday we were playing outside in shorts and t-shirts. I hope everyone is staying warm (and sane!) during this holiday season.
