As a foster parent who has adopted two children from foster care, Lindsey has experienced firsthand both the challenges and incredible rewards of fostering. Abbey has been opening her heart and home for over 16 years, starting as a general level foster home licensed with the State of NH, and now as an ISO-level foster parent with Independent Services Network. Abbey creates a space where children feel safe, supported, and truly seen. With a deep well of experience and compassion, Abbey has supported many children and their families along their journeys, always leading with empathy and understanding. Abbey shines as a powerful advocate—not just for the youth in her care, but for their families as well—building strong, respectful partnerships with biological families that help children stay connected to their roots. Her warm, collaborative approach is a beautiful example of how foster parenting can uplift everyone involved, creating brighter, more hopeful outcomes for the children she so thoughtfully supports.
