Many thanks to the New Hampshire Bulletin for publishing this excellent piece by two awesome Healthcare advocates in our state. The state of our Healthcare system in NH isn't doing great especially for seniors using "Medicare DIS-Advantage" health plans.
Watch out for unwelcome surprises this Medicare open enrollment period • New Hampshire Bulletin This fall, countless New Hampshire seniors will be reexamining their Medicare coverage options for 2025 during the open enrollment period, which runs from Oct. 15th to Dec. 7.

"Medicaid enrollment changes from March 2023 to the most recent data available as of mid-April 2024, New Hampshire had the sixth-highest cumulative percentage decrease in enrollment, with a 26.7 percent decline."
Granite Staters Continue to be Impacted by End of Continuous Medicaid Enrollment One Year Later - New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute Medicaid enrollment declined 26.7 percent after a key policy expired, but total enrollment remains higher than before the COVID-19 pandemic.
