As of Sunday, October 13th we, Eighty-Eight coffee company, have STILL NOT come to an agreement with the city of Manchester, NH. All day we’ve been approached by people and sources telling us that WMUR news 9 and the Union Leader have reported that we have settled with the City of Manchester, NH. THIS IS NOT TRUE. While they have accepted a number for the building and property from a non-bias assessment, they have not offered any compensation for the business, loss of business, or transition time among other things. Certain entities have power and control of narratives at times. We never confirmed this with either news source and are astounded that they would make those claims without doing so. This is not over. PLEASE SHOW UP TO THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMAN MEETING THIS TUESDAY AT MANCHESTER CITY HALL, 3rd floor at 7PM (if you’d like to speak arrive at 6:30pm to sign up) to show your support for Eighty Eight coffee. All we want is to be compensated fairly so we can have a future once we figure out our next steps. To our customers and all who have had our back we cannot begin to express out gratitude towards you. Please repost and share if you can. Thank you. ❤️

Come and join us for an opportunity to invest in Center City’s Mural for a fundraising night hosted by Don Quijote on Friday, June 28th from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.

Community Members - Jason Bonilla, Mayor Ruais, Zach Palmer, and Sandra Almonte got together to see how could we get a professionally done mural that represents and embodies the community that it is in, a mural that puts a light on our immigrant communities, the resiliency of our community in center city, and the importance that our public schools play here for our future leaders. So we brought on Positive Street Art (Cecilia Ulibarri, Manny Ramirez, and Christian Ramirez) to be the main artists and eventually, we identified the location, along with the business owner of the site - Lisandro of Colon Tires. Tickets are $30 - half of the proceeds go towards the food and the other half towards the mural.

Our Fundraiser goal is $5,400, we would appreciate your attendance at this fundraiser at Don Quijote (362 Union Street Manchester, NH) to support the making of this mural a reality! We also wanted to thank the Manchester Arts Commission for committing $15,000 towards this project, who were able to do so from the support and allocation of funds from Joyce Craig.
