Manchester, CT Animal Control

Saturday June 6,2026 Manchester held its annual rabies clinic. We are appreciative for all the attendees and our helpers!
This event represented a total of 13 towns. We vaccinated 133 dogs and 32 cats!
Manchester Veterinary Clinic, Manchester CT very generously donated many staff and our loved Dr. B! (Dr.B has partnered with our town clinic for about 20 years!)
Volunteers included national honors members, college students, a Bolton CT Girl Scout troop, friends and family! THANK YOU all for coming out and supporting our clinic!

We are just 3 days away! Come out for a low-cost rabies vaccination for your pets. Remember, all dogs must be on leash and all cats must be in a carrier! All towns are welcome, and the Manchester Town Hall will be open for Manchester Residents to purchase their dog license!

Our beluga whale set sail to this new home! ❤️ Liam has been welcomed into a home with several children who adore him and will make him the center of attention.

This handsome guy has been hanging out on the front porch of a home in the Cooper St area for the past 2 days. The tag is unfortunately not registered with owner information. Are you missing this friendly guy? If so please contact the office at 860-645-5516! Please note he is NOT in our custody at this time!

The Manchester Town Clerk's Office is excited to host a Spring Gift Basket Giveaway for local dog owners. All submissions must be in by June 8th, 2026. Submissions will be available to vote on our Town of Manchester page starting June 9th, 2026.

The dog with the most votes will be crowned Manchester's Top Dog, and the winner(s) will receive a special Spring Gift Basket. The winner(s) will be announced and contacted at the end of June.
