Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom is never free. Today, we honor just a few of the countless American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and our freedoms.
I’m praying for their loved ones and every Gold Star Family, and I give thanks for those who gave everything so we could live free.
God Bless America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Today, my new opinion piece was published about legislation I’ve been working on. This bill is deeply personal to me because I truly believe it has the potential to save lives.
As a legislator, there are moments when you realize the work you are doing could make a real difference for families across New Hampshire. I believe this is one of those moments, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
I’m grateful to everyone who has helped bring attention to this issue and contributed to the conversation.

Imagine being told a treatment exists… it’s already been proven safe… but the FDA process and the system we have in healthcare will take years before you can access it.
That’s reality for too many people.
HB1734 gives patients a choice, with their doctor, to try treatments after safety testing is complete.
Because if time is running out, waiting isn’t an option.
Meanwhile, we spend nearly 60 BILLION taxpayer dollars every single year on medical research, investing in discoveries, innovation, and the hope of new treatments.
But instead of those breakthroughs helping patients here at home, over 75% of them end up going overseas.
Why? Because the system is too slow, too restrictive, and too disconnected from the patients who actually need these treatments.
So taxpayers fund the research, patients wait, and the innovation we paid for leaves the country.
That is not just inefficient. It is unacceptable.
Let’s fix it. Let’s lead.
Live free or die.

I’ve worked on several bills in my first term and cosponsored many others, but in my first year this stood out as one of the most important issues we had to tackle.
I saw it firsthand during a ride along with the Manchester Police Department, the revolving door that puts our communities at risk and undermines law enforcement.
Fixing our broken bail system was critical. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to serve in the House and help get this done.

It was an honor to have a small part in today’s celebration of the 182nd Anniversary of the Dominican Republic independence.

I wanted to share this information with my constituents and the public.
Concord, NH - The New Hampshire Department of Justice and Department of Safety are providing a further update on the state’s vehicle inspection program in response to the federal District Court’s January 27, 2026 preliminary injunction order:
The vehicle inspection program is suspended until further notice.
Inspection stations will no longer be authorized to issue state inspection stickers and vehicles will not be required to obtain an annual state inspection at this time.
Drivers are still responsible under current law to ensure that any vehicle driven in New Hampshire is safe to operate, regardless of the status of the inspection program.
Following the Executive Council’s denial of the Department of Safety’s request to extend the termination date of the State’s vehicle inspection contract with Gordon-Darby NHOST, Inc, the State currently has no approved vendor to operate the State’s vehicle inspection program.
As a result, and after careful review of the legal implications under current state statutes of the lack of an approved vendor, the vehicle inspection program is suspended until further notice. Inspection stations will no longer be authorized to issue state inspection stickers and vehicles will not be required to obtain an annual state inspection at this time.
The Department of Safety and the Department of Environmental Services are exploring all options to continue to comply with the Court’s order but currently lack the legal authority to operate a vehicle inspection program given that there is no approved vendor for the program. In addition, the State is continuing to seek relief from the Court’s order and has filed a Notice of Appeal to the First Circuit Court of Appeals as well as a motion requesting that the Court stay its preliminary injunction order.
While the vehicle inspection program is currently suspended, the status of the program remains subject to change as the legal landscape continues to evolve. The State will update its public guidance on vehicle inspections as more information becomes available and will provide additional regulatory flexibility as needed in the event of future changes, including further deadline extensions should the program resume.
At this time, the public is reminded that they are responsible under current law to ensure that any vehicle driven in New Hampshire is safe to operate, regardless of the status of the inspection program. Vehicle safety requirements are set forth in New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated (RSA) Chapter 266.

Today at the State House was a powerful reminder of why I am honored to serve. Watching volunteers step up, and give their time so generously shows the very best of New Hampshire. Their hard work ensured these donations will reach families who truly need them.
I am also grateful to Adam Sexton from WMUR for being there to highlight the efforts of so many local organizations. We have so many great people in our state doing what they can for our state and the people we serve.
It is an honor to serve alongside people who care so deeply about their neighbors and their state.
Join us tomorrow for a diaper drive at the New Hampshire State House this Thursday in Rooms 122–123 on the main entrance level.
Drop-offs will be accepted from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Diapers are one of the most needed items for families with young children, and your donation will have an immediate impact. Volunteers will be on hand to help direct you upon arrival.
All donated diapers will be distributed to several trusted organizations across the state, and a full list of recipient organizations will be available. If you or your family are in need of diapers or other support, information about local assistance programs will also be available.
Thank you for helping strengthen our community and support families across New Hampshire. While all diaper sizes are welcome, the greatest need is for sizes 3–6.
I look forward to seeing you!

I received my Turning Point score for my first year. Plenty of people claim the “America First” label, but commitment isn’t proven by slogans, it’s proven by action.
