Long road to get here but the body is painted. We'll start blocking the clear this week for polishing and moving on to the rest of the parts.
We had Jason from Northeast 3D Printing & Scanning down yesterday to do some scaning on 70 Trans Am project. We're planning on designing some fender to skirt fillers to tidy up the engine bay a little bit.
Well its off the rotisserie, frame will come back out for paint. Hoping to have it back in the booth next week for some color.
Things taking shape, our custom fuel lines are in place. The DSE Quadra Link is all installed with our custom made 9/16 ARP bolts. Time to get it off the rotisserie.

We spent the last 2.5 weeks working on a clear issue that turned out to be 2 different batch numbers of PPG DC8117 clear. About 3.5 gallon of mixed DC8115/DC8117 all went into the garbage and had to get our PPG Rep involved. In 30 plus years I've never run into an actual product issues/failure. Never the less the bottom and inside are now all painted.

We designed a custom gas tank strap and all-new mounting provisions using all the factory mounting points. The widowed mounting strap gets welded to the tank, which will make it easy to install and remove without a major hassle.
