There's something so nostalgic about it and we, at Fishtoes Vintage, love anything retro.

Our vintage threads are perfect for anyone wanting to look the part or stand out on the rink.

Remix holds a variety of different themed events, including 80's & 90's nights, so be sure to look out for them!

Jessalyn (who's been a makeup artist & hair stylist for many of our shoots), brought it as our model. She, having been a former ice skater, showcased both Remix & Fishtoes beautifully.

"I said yes to this roller rink photoshoot before mentioning one important detail: I’d never roller skated before. Roller blades, yeah, before I switched over to ice skates in middle school. But roller skates 🫣

Thankfully, Lara has a gift for making people feel comfortable, and an even bigger gift for putting together the coolest vintage looks. We had so much fun putting together these funky outfits.

As a makeup artist, I’m usually the one behind the scenes helping bring someone else’s vision to life. Getting the chance to step in front of (or wobbling up to) the camera and play dress-up in these curated looks from Fishtoes vast inventory of rad clothing was such a fun experience.

Vintage clothing has a way of connecting us to the past, while still letting us express who we are today, and that’s exactly what makes this shop so special.

Can you wear 1950's dresses today? The answer is...

YES.

In fact, they have everything to do with dress designs of today.

The 50's mostly focused on 2 iconic silhouettes: the full-skirted swing dress (fitted, cinched at the waist, and flaring out into a dramatic skirt) and the form-fitting wiggle / pencil dress (hugging the body from the shoulders down to the mid-calf). These designs revolutionized fashion by heavily accentuating the feminine hourglass figure with structured bodices, cinched waists, & prominent skirt volumes and directly inspired today's modern cocktail wear and formal gowns.

Amy, our model for this shoot, is an incredibly inspiring human who advocates women's betterment / healing journeys through Sacred Moon Community & Revive Recovery in Manchester, NH. She stepped into these vintage dresses and brought them into 2026 with an effortless finesse that transcended reality. She did an incredible job at showing how a woman can exude power & softness in stunning 1950's attire.

"I never wear dresses, but this shoot had me channeling the strength of the women who wore them before me. Every vintage piece carries a story, and somehow pairing 50s dresses with sneakers and Timberlands made them feel like me. I even purchased one of them!

Vintage nightwear has come back into fashion and now, exquisite pieces from the 20's through the 90's are being worn as everyday wear. We're ALL about it!

The exquisite cotton, linen, nainsook, cambric, flannel, silk & satin nightgowns and robes can often be found trimmed in lace, and embellished with ribbon, bows and/or ruffles.

These pieces can be worn casually during the day (adding a bit of romance to your look), in the evening (to sizzle things up) or at night (to give you sweeter dreams).

Hailey, our model for this shoot, took to the streets of Manchester and dazzled passersby with just some of the vintage nightwear we have at Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures. She made it clear: vintage nightwear is a must-have in every lady's wardrobe!

We got married!!

Again! Well, sort of :)

Earl and I got to play pretend by modeling for this super unique / not-so-traditional bridal concept, curated by the amazing

Marlana from thought we'd be perfect for this one, seeing as we tend to live our life in full color! I'm so glad we said yes!

We were absolutely honored to participate, blown away by how thoughtfully everything was put together and wonderfully overwhelmed by how much we love these shots!!

A big thanks to everyone from the team for their hard work, and a special thanks to Marlana, Amanda, Ariel & Allison for giving us another beautiful "wedding" to remember!

In the spotlight: Alexis & Nicole of The Terracotta Room - a boutique featuring plants, candles, home decor, jewelry and clothing in downtown Manchester, NH.

These two women are powerful forces of nature who, together, bring some kick-ass vibes to our community.
