As you know 'emotions' sell... As a marketing consultant I continue to find it interesting the techniques used to move material goods. Some marketing copy can be of course diabolical (and even fear based), while others provide a more positive sentiment.

Friends of mine recently became part of a Lincoln commercial (for the 2019 holiday season) to introduce their vehicle and well, you'll see...

(LOL - I even assisted them with the house sat of the/ir dog used in this bit.)

It's interesting tracking their response from friends and associates with most all having no idea that Lincoln is selling it's vehicle... masterful script writing and production delivery.

If you sell a product or service it's worth noting that emotions (beyond features and benefits) in your brand copy that hit the heart strings of the viewer will reap greater results.

To Index or No-Index During Your Website Buildup Phase.

We've never recommended a no-indexed status during the build up of a website and here's our research and reasoning supporting such.

Understanding that many believe Google loves updates (however, we have citations both pros and cons) eg., we've stayed at the top of SERPs for many years on many sites 'without' hardly doing any updates whatsoever, but that's for another research thread.

In any case and if you support the Google loves updates concept, consider that any of your updates over 'build up' stage is desirable for the G-god. It's a good way to add content even if it's your initial creation stuff. Look, if you eventually move stuff around later (tabs, pages, posts, et. al.) the G-AI bots really don't give a squat... as a matter of fact, if anything it would appear that you're actually doing something to update your site.

IOHO... Index as early as possible and let er' rip with additional creation content and layout as you continue your build out. And the earlier you start driving traffic even if the bounce sucks a little at first will become better over time with eventual longer stick rates which will increase your SEO.

Hint: get friends and associates now to hang out on your 'not done yet' site, having them click around and eventually 'close out' their browser tab (not backing out of your site).
