Granite State Destroyers

Its taken me a few weeks to process the feeling and emotions from this past season but here we go

It’s been an absolute honor to lead this group of men this year. This team means a little more to me because before I ever had the privilege of being your Head Coach, I was a player wearing GSD across my chest alongside many of you. I know what it means to be in that locker room, stand on that sideline, and go to battle as a Destroyer.

To go from being a player with this organization to being trusted to lead it is something I’ll never take for granted.

Through every win, every loss, every challenge and every battle this season, I watched this group continue to fight for one another and grow closer as a family. I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. Just like our prayer we got better and better until we can’t be beat won’t be beat.

The scoreboard will never tell the full story of this team. The brotherhood, relationships and memories we created will last a lot longer than any final score.

And to our Admin — thank you for everything you poured into this team. From making sure the guys had the right jerseys, keeping the Sour Straws stocked, taking our glamour shots and somehow making us look athletic 😂, to being our #1 fan on the sideline. Home or away, you cheering us on always made it feel like home. Words can’t explain how thankful we all are for you

Thank you to every player, coach, family member, and fan who poured so much into GSD this year. And thank you to the men in that locker room for trusting me to lead you.

I was proud to be your teammate. I’m even prouder to be your Head Coach. I look forward to watching the bonds and friendships we have formed as we continue to grow together.

DESTROYERS ALL DAY. 💪

Dear GSD,

One game doesn’t define a season. A season is defined by everything that came before it & everything you chose to become along the way.

I had a front-row seat this season. I watched friendships grow, players step into new positions, challenges get faced head-on, & the moments when you chose to come back stronger.

It was an honor to stand on your sideline each week. To be there for the wins, the tough moments, the celebrations, the frustrations, & everything in between. I wouldn’t trade that view for anything.

There were hundreds of Sour Patch Straws purchased & somehow consumed throughout the season. I’m still not entirely sure where they all went, but clearly they were an important part of the game plan. 😂

To our fans, you deserve a HUGE thank you, too. The love & support you showed this team never went unnoticed. You traveled, you cheered, you brought the cowbell, & you made sure our guys knew they were never standing alone.

I’m so incredibly proud of you. I’ll continue to defend you, stand beside you, annoy you, nag & cheer for you, no matter what the scoreboard says.

With immense admiration & all my love
