That's part of what makes 30 years of Pokémon so ridiculous.

It's basically several different hobbies sharing the same universe.

Somehow, Pokémon has spent 30 years convincing us that catching creatures, making them fight, hoarding shiny cardboard, and arguing about starters are completely normal behaviors.

This week, we're going back to Pokémania: the games, anime, cards, playground trades, ridiculous rumors, the original 151, Pokémon GO, collecting, scalpers, nine generations of fans, and how Pokémon became something much bigger than a video game.

God of War (2018) presents its story like one continuous camera shot, without the traditional cinematic cuts you normally see between gameplay and story scenes.

That means the camera stays right there with Kratos and Atreus throughout the journey, which makes the huge battles feel massive... and the quieter father-son moments feel a whole lot more personal.

Pretty ambitious for a game where one of the main parenting strategies is basically:

“BOY.”

It’s also part of why that first playthrough hits differently. You’re not just watching their relationship change. You’re traveling right alongside them.
