I was just told I’m being sprung from this place, and I’m pretty excited about it! Not only because I’ll finally find my forever family, but because… look who they named me after: Elphaba.

Now listen. At my young age (almost 6 months old), I do enjoy snuggling up for a good movie like Wicked. But really? Why wasn’t I named Glinda—or something that better highlights my adorable, playful, snuggly personality?

Well, the universe clearly had a much bigger plan for Ollie than we did.

Yesterday, Ollie—now lovingly known as “Olliepop”—met the sweetest little human, and it was obvious from the very first moment that the feeling was mutual. The bond between them was instant, and our hearts couldn’t be happier.

A Message from Beau

Hi future family,
Beau here. I had a chance to chat with the humans this morning, and I made a list of important things they absolutely had to tell you.
First things first: make sure they tell you how handsome I am. I mean, it’s pretty obvious, but a reminder never hurts.

I’m a 5-month-old Boxer mix. Before you ask, no, I’m not into boxing, so you don’t have to worry about any of that. And while I’m only 5 months old, I’ve already mastered a few things. Unlike most 5-month-olds, I won’t keep you up all night crying or demanding midnight snacks.
Right now I’m under 20 pounds, which is a pretty great size for my age. Don’t worry though—I’m still growing and have some filling out to do. I’ve got all the fun puppy energy without being one of those tiny yappy dogs that fit in a purse. Nothing against them… they’re just not my style.

I’ve already had my neuter surgery, I’m up to date on all my vaccinations (ouch!), and I’ve even got one of those fancy microchips so I can always find my way back to the people who love me.
So, as you can see, I’m pretty wonderful.
I’ll give you a minute to let that sink in.
