Running the same part on the same machine every day doesn't make you a machinist. It makes you an operator. Nothing wrong with that — but it's not the same thing.
A machinist reads the print, plans the process, picks the tooling, does the setup, and makes the part — to spec, on time. And then does it again on a different machine tomorrow.
CNC or manual. Lathe or mill. Production or prototype. You figure it out because you understand how parts get made — not just how to press start on one cycle.
That's who we're looking for at GSM.
We've got 30+ diverse machining centers, 5-axis capability, large-format work, and defense contracts that demand real precision. No shortcuts. No "close enough."
