Stop into the library for some holiday cheer courtesy of our crafty and talented Makerspace Team led by Christi Geisinger! We wish you a peaceful holiday season filled with books & bounty!
Join us in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month by exploring our new âIndigenous Futurismsâ display. Indigenous Futurisms is a cultural movement in literature, visual art, film, games, and digital media that centers Indigenous voices and perspectives to imagine alternative futures, re-examine the past, and challenge colonial narratives. It celebrates Indigenous cultures, ancestral knowledge, and languages by reclaiming agency over storytelling, identity, and technology, often advocating for environmental stewardship, cultural continuity, sovereignty, and social justice.
