Rebuilding Together Manchester

It's been almost a week and we’re still feeling the impact of an incredible National Rebuilding Day here in Manchester. To every volunteer, board member, sponsor, and supporter - thank you. Whether you gave your time, your resources, or your energy, you made a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.

We’re especially grateful to the residents who welcomed us into their homes and trusted us to support them. It was an honor to serve you.

Together, we completed repairs and yard work across multiple homes throughout Manchester which proof of what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose. We wrapped up the day with a well-earned celebration at Northwest Park and shared food, stories, and the joy of a job well done.

We’re proud, we’re thankful, and we’re already looking ahead. Here’s to continuing this work and making an even greater impact. See you for National Rebuilding Day 2027! 🔨

What an incredible morning in Manchester! Today, we partnered with Hartford HealthCare to complete home repairs and yard work for a local resident, making a real difference where it matters most. Our Executive Director, Dan Bissette, was also interviewed by NBC Connecticut be sure to catch him on the news today!

A huge THANK YOU to Hartford HealthCare for their time, energy, and commitment to giving back to our community.

And we’re just getting started… National Rebuilding Day is tomorrow! We kick things off at 8:30AM sharp and we can’t wait to see all of our amazing volunteers ready to roll. Let’s do this!

Only 15 days until National Rebuilding Day! A huge thank you to Bob’s Discount Furniture for getting a head start helping transform a home’s outdoor space earlier this week through yard work and cleanup. Your support means so much to the families we serve.

This is just the beginning. On April 25, Rebuilding Together Manchester will bring volunteers together across the city to make an even bigger impact.
