As we continue through this heat wave 🔥 we wanted to share a safety tip on the importance of maintaining your tire pressure at the correct level. 🛞

Excessive heat can cause your tire pressure to temporarily increase. For every 10 degrees of increased temperature, your tires can be expected to increase by 1-2 pounds of pressure.

Low tire pressure in combination with hot temperatures can contribute to a tire blowout.

Correct tire pressure should be listed on a sticker placed either on the vehicle's door jamb, doorpost, glove box door, or fuel door. 🛻

🤓If you overfill your tank, it could cover the v***r intake hole with liquid gasoline, which can then be sucked into the charcoal canister. This can damage the canister and possibly other parts of the system, which will cause the car's check-engine light to come on and could potentially cost hundreds to repair.🤓
