Let's get summer started with face painting, pony rides and more at the Willistown GO WILMA Kickoff party! While you're there, visit MPL's table to sign up for the coolest outdoor adventure program around! Get outdoors with your kids this summer as you follow the clues to inspiration stations hidden throughout the beautiful parks and preserves of Willistown, Malvern, East Goshen and Easttown! Kids will get a raffle ticket for each one they find! We hope to see you Tuesday at Greentree Park!

Next week's children's programs are filling fast! Pokémon Club and Preschool Ballet are full, but you can add your name to the waitlist. On the waitlist for the “Correspondent”? It’s your lucky day because we have (2) 7-day loan copies in our Lucky Day Section! Our Lucky Day Section is located with our new titles. Books in our lucky day section cannot be put on hold, are 7 day loans, and are only available for pickup at Malvern Library! Stop in soon- these are first come first served and get scooped quickly!

Summer Reading at MPL starts NOW! Follow the dinosaur tracks to our Summer Reading sign-up station adjacent to the circ. desk. Sign-ups for Teen Summer Reading and Adult Summer Reading Bingo are also available at the circ desk. Go WilMa Field guides will be available Wednesday, 6/17! You can sign-ups for all these fun programs now and throughout the summer!

The literary world lost a legend yesterday. She published 450 books across multiple genres including "Owl Moon", "The Devil's Arithmetic", and the ever popular "How Does a Dinosaur say Goodnight" which sparked a series of books that taught children kindness, empathy, and how to manage big emotions. She was awarded 6 honorary doctorates and numerous literary awards. Her daughter posted that Jane passed peacefully while listening to "Owl Moon" being read to her one last time. Our hearts are with her family, friends and fans from all over the world.
