Get to Know Chatham! Chatham is a small, but historic town in . Located in London Grove Township, the town is named for William Pitt, First Earl of Chatham, who lived from 1708–1778. In 1741, William McKean opened a tavern 🍻known as Half-Way House. In 1766, word of Pitt's speech in the British parliament in opposition to the Stamp Act reached the tavern. McKean put a large portrait of the Earl out front, thus, the tavern name, and later town name, was changed to Chatham. Did you learn something new today? 💡

Good Afternoon ChesCo 👋
Coatesville is a beautiful city 🌆in our great county located just 39 miles outside of Philadelphia! Coatesville developed rapidly in the early 20th century with the growth of the Lukens Steel Company. Originating as a borough, Coatesville became a city in 1915, and is the only one in ChesCo🤯! It is also home🏠 to former NBA player Richard Hamilton 🏀 and Olympic gold medalist Charles Moore 🥇!

Spring City is located along the historic Schuylkill River🏞, which is a dividing point between Montgomery and Chester Counties. It's also home to Chuck Sheetz, an Emmy award-winning Director for The Simpsons📺, and Sherwood H. Hallman, a recipient of the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during World War II. 🏅🪖
