Dinosaurs are cool. Did you know that 70 million years ago, a school-bus sized dinosaur named the Tylosaurus could be found roaming the waters of Kansas? Now imagine finding one of those in your backyard! For dinosaur enthusiast Corbin Bullard, he did just that. This fall, the boy and his family discovered a near 50 foot long skeleton on their property. Kenadee Hansen has more.
Watching your children become independent can be scary, especially when it comes time for them to get behind the wheel. That's what our friends at the Wichita Driving School can help out with. Just take it from MCA's Shawna Pack Sphar as she shares her experience sending her son to WDS.
The OneMaize Media Multimedia camp is just a few weeks away! At the end of camp, students are challenged to create a short film as a part of a miniature film competition. Last year's winner was a short film about a killer pickle!

There's "taking pictures", and then there's "capturing action"! If you have a 7-10 grader that wants to up their sports photography skills, sign them up for the OneMaize Sports Media camp. Campers will work with OneMaize's best photographers while covering summer sports camp events in order to develop professional level skills and techniques in the art of sports photography!

It's officially summer! However, it's never to early to look ahead to next year. For high schoolers, there will be a noticeable change to the weekly schedule as Flex Fridays will be going away. OneMaize Media's Malia Taylor has more on the districts decision to move away from the incentive based system.
Earlier this month the greatest show in sports made a stop in Wichita as Banana Ball played a 3 game series at Equity Bank Park. In a reinvisioned concept of baseball infused with entertainment, fans are treated to a 2 hour interactive spectacle. State swim kicks off today, and for one Maize Eagle Athletics and Activities swimmer, her return to the top has been long awaited. After a battle with cancer, junior Kylie Thorn relied on the support of her teammates to get herself back into a position to win a state title.
