Safety Camp day #5: Afternoon Session
🚲🚲 Bike Safety 🚲🚲
Camps got to learn about bike safety and how to properly wear a helmet, ride a bike/scooter through safety town, play at Seven Gables Park, build protections for an egg to see if it would protect it during a “fall”, and always a favorite… getting sprayed by the fire hose!!

🚌🚌Bus Safety 🚌🚌
Campers got to learn all about bus safety from Loveland City Schools bus drivers! They got to practice bus evacuation drills, learn about how to safely get on and ride the bus to school, and even got to take a bus ride! Campers also got to jump in the bounce house and build their own LEGO vehicles!!

🚌🚌Bus Safety 🚌🚌
Campers got to learn all about bus safety from Loveland City Schools bus drivers! They got to practice bus evacuation drills, learn about how to safely get on and ride the bus to school, and even got to take a bus ride! Campers also got to jump in the bounce house and build their own LEGO vehicles!!

🚔🐶Police, pet, & people safety 🚔🐶
Today campers got to talk with Loveland Ohio Police Department officers & Hamilton County Sheriffs about people safety, how to call 911, and they even brought some special guests with them… their K9 dogs to talk about pet safety! Campers also got to invent their own pet and officially adopt them!!

🩹🚑🤕First Aid Safety 🩹🚑🤕
Campers got to learn all about the ambulance and ways the firefighters treat patients in the back, they got to make their very own custom first aid kit, and they got to play a relay game with their groups to see who could build a first aid kit the fastest! We also talked about the appropriate times to call 9-1-1 vs using a first aid kit!!

Today campers got to talk with firefighters about the fire truck, what to do in case of a fire emergency, spray a real fire hose, tour the fire house, build a structure with LEGOs that has an escape route, and play firefighter bingo!!! We had so much fun and it was just day 1!!!
