That’s a wrap on PLC at Work 2026! 🎉
Three days of learning, collaborating, and growing! As we head home, we’re excited to bring back new ideas, stronger practices, and a renewed commitment to ensuring high levels of learning for every student. Thank you to our incredible team for investing their time and energy into becoming even better for our students.

We are excited to invite you to our Senior Stroll on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM! Come celebrate this exciting milestone with fellow alumni, friends, and the BBE community as we cheer you on into your next chapter. 💙✨

We invite families to complete kindergarten registration for the 2026–27 school year online.

At Bear Branch Elementary, we will offer in-person support on May 5 and 6 from 9:00 AM–2:30 PM to assist with registration and answer questions.

Join us for Kindergarten Roundup on May 5 from 5:00–6:30 PM to meet our teachers and staff, tour the school, learn about kindergarten, and receive help with registration if needed.

We encourage families to register early to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

🌟 Today is Election Day! Voters must cast their ballot at their assigned precinct location! Polls are open 7 AM - 7 PM.

One of the items on the ballot is the single-proposition MISD 2026 Bond Election that addresses the accelerated student enrollment growth. 92% of this Bond is for classroom space.

⚪ High school #3 (opening August 2030)
⚪ Elementary school #10 (opening August 2028)
⚪ Elementary school #11 (opening August 2029)
⚪ Safety and security projects including security cameras, wireless upgrades, server upgrades and enhanced data storage
⚪ Land acquisition for future junior high, intermediate,
and two elementary sites
⚪ School buses to replace those 20+ years and older
⚪ Priority maintenance at existing schools
