We lost our beloved Mac (adopted from Camo) 6 years ago today, and now here’s another Mac needing a loving home. 🐾🙏

At 11 years old and just 13 pounds, Mac is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much in life… just a soft place to rest, someone to love, and a spot close beside his person. 💫 This sweet Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix was deeply loved and spoiled by his mama, but sadly, she recently went into the hospital and loved him until her last breath. Despite the changes in his world, Mac has remained the same loving, gentle soul he has always been.

The very first night in his San Antonio foster home, Mac made one thing very clear: he did NOT intend to sleep alone in a crate. 😂 Instead, he quietly found his perfect place at the foot of the bed and that’s exactly where he’s slept ever since. Because for Mac, love means simply being near his people. 🤍

He’s friendly, outgoing, and wonderfully easy to love. He enjoys the company of other dogs and spends his time happily following his foster family around or relaxing nearby like the loyal little shadow he is.

Mac does have cataracts, but they certainly don’t slow him down. He still gets around just fine, enjoys playing with the other dogs, and even handled bath time like an absolute champion. His fluffy coat, sweet face, and signature curly Shih Tzu tail make him impossible not to fall in love with. 🐶✨

After a lifetime of love, Mac deserves nothing less than a peaceful forever home where he can spend his golden years safe, cherished, and curled up beside someone who adores him. Mac is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, up to date on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and ready to find his forever family.
