Jody for Rescue

Meet Doc Hudson, a sweet and gentle 1½-year-old Schnauzer mix weighing about 24 pounds. ❤️ Doc is still working on his confidence when it comes to this big, crazy world. Meeting new people can make him a little nervous. But give this handsome boy a little time, patience, and reassurance, and you’ll start seeing the real Doc emerge. ❤️ Once he feels safe, his sweet personality begins to shine and apparently, so does his enthusiasm for STUFFY, SQUEAKY TOYS! 🧸📣😂

Doc isn’t looking for someone who expects him to be the life of the party on Day One. He’s looking for a calm, patient human who understands that trust is earned one little step at a time. Someone willing to let him warm up at his own pace, celebrate the small victories, and show him that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. 🥹💕

With consistency, love, and a little patience, this sweet boy has all the makings of a loyal, devoted best friend. 🐾❤️ And if you happen to believe every dog deserves a squeaky toy… well, Doc would like to submit his résumé immediately. 😂🧸

📍 Doc is being fostered in the Houston area.
