Our annual fundraiser is just two months away, and this year we are doing a fun run! Tickets are now on sale! Save the date, May 16th!

The fundraiser supports Magnum Opus School of the Arts and the Professional Company. The event will be raising essential funds for scholarships, program development, performance opportunities, costumes, studio maintenance, and keeping the arts affordable to all.

This family-friendly 5K welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and community members of all ages. The course follows a scenic loop through the Pheasant Branch trails, featuring a mix of paved path, packed gravel, and well maintained crushed gravel surfaces that are commonly used by families with strollers. The route is fully offroad with no street crossings, offering a safe and relaxed experience for all participants.

After the races, all are welcome to enjoy the silent auction, celebrate, and learn more about Magnum Opus. The event highlights both the joy of springtime on the Pheasant Branch trails and the collective effort to support the Magnum Opus mission through participation and donations.

"Why does God intervene in certain situations and not others.. that's a very difficult issue, there are a number of very difficult issues for me. But I am convinced to the root of my being that Jesus Christ is the truth, but I can't prove that. I struggle with doubt, I struggle with uncertainty, so I don't mean to communicate that I've got it all nailed down, because I don't. There's tremendous uncertainty, there's tremendous doubt that I experience on a regular basis, but the overwhelming evidence, and in my experience in my life, and what Christ has done in my life...So in spite of the doubt, in spite of the uncertainty, the reality of Christ in my life and as I observe in others, convinces me that He is by far the best option. " Cliff Knechtle, Christian apologist and pastor

"Science tends to answer the questions, how does this work and why a function... why is that bit there, etcetera. It doesn't answer the question why a purpose, that can only be answered in terms of an angency... and to have a complete explanation we need both." John Lennox, professor of mathematics at Oxford University

What If?

What If? Madison, Baraboo, and Duluth.

"What if when we pray we're not just talking to ourselves? What if it's all more real than our current definition of reality can contain? What if it's all true? What if You're gracious? What is You're good? What if You're not meant to be understood? What if You give peace? What if You have mercy? What If You're a well drawing life for the thirsty? What's if Your call is for me to be free and to see a new reality?"
- Jon Jorgenson
