Sometimes you just get the urge for big change. This lovely lady had hair down to her lower back. She was able to donate about 10 inches of hair! Wow!! It went to a great cause, and she came out with a fun new style!

I wanted to let you all know I am doing my best to reschedule in the order that everyone had to be cancelled. I have people from mid-March onward to get in first. So please bear with me when I am trying to schedule.
The plan as of now is to be back and running on the 26th. However we won’t know for sure until closer to that date, or even as early as that morning. The determining factor is how the number of cases run as a county.
I do want to let you know that we have always been trained for proper disinfection, sanitation, and sterilization procedures with medical grade Barbicide. I did go ahead and get certified with Barbicide to ensure you I am up to date with proper use and taking proper precautions for a clean sanitized salon.
We as a whole Salons Etc building are asking for clients to follow the new safety and sanitation guidelines. These are state guidelines so we can be back in business.
1. There will not be any chairs to wait in the salon.
2. Doors will be locked, so please wait in your car until I contact you that I am ready for you to come in. You can text me that you are here.
3. Please come alone. Unless you have back to back appointments. One adult with one child at a time if needed.
4. Please don’t bring more than you need for your service (keys, money, phone). I ask that you don’t have any phones out while getting your services done in the chair. (During color process is fine)
5. I will be taking MY temperature daily before I come to work. I ask you to please reschedule if you’re feeling even a little bit sick, or if you think it’s “a regular cold”. As I want to be sure to be able to protect all of my other clients too and be able to stay healthy to stay open.
6. I will be asking if you have been around anyone who has been tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
7. Please wear a mask before coming into the building. If you don’t have one, I am happy to provide you with one. I know there are a lot of different thoughts and feelings about this, however this is how I can be in business. I also want to be sure we are doing what we can to protect our other clients and stylist. If you don’t want to wear a mask and prefer to wait please message me and we can change your app.
8. We will both sanitize or wash our hands when we get to the salon.
9. I won’t be serving beverages at this time.
10. I won’t be doing lip waxing, beard trims. (Hopefully not too long)
11. There are a lot of different thoughts on blow drying. As a collective, we decided to leave it up to the stylist. I personally like to use mine, however if a client prefers me to not, we can skip it.
12. I can still take all payment types. In addition to Venmo (angeladisalvo5) and Paypal (angeladisalvo5).

Hello Everyone!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Last night there was a lot of confusion with, if salons are open now or not. I want to clarify that salons are to remain closed until May 26th 8am. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this stressful time.
I am in the process of being up and ready with some new regulations. I ask a favor from you as we open for business:

-Please reschedule your appointment if you're not feeling well or you know you've been around someone who tested positive for Covid-19.

-Please wear a mask around ears. If you don't have one, I will have one to supply.

-Please wait in your car until I call or text you to come in. (You can message me to let me know you're waiting if you want). We will not have waiting area with chairs. I will schedule my best to allow time thats needed for sanitizing (and wait time) between clients. You know me, I'm big on being on time, and not having people wait.

I can't wait to see all your smiling faces and have our laughs together again.

Trust when I say this has been a challenge for stylist too, with trying to be on top of everything changing daily.

As of today, Shear Texture Salon is currently closed due to the mandated order of the Governor. I will be sure to keep social distance to stay healthy, so I am ready when we are given the "go", to get back to work!
