We will be having a special meeting Monday June 22nd at 7:00pm. Held in the McLeb Building on the fairgrounds. This meeting is open to the public.
The only agenda item for this meeting is
Temporary employment for office Discuss/Accept
🚜 We are looking for Trolly drivers each night of the fair. July7th-12th. 🚜
Our trolly drivers provide rides from the parking lot into the fairgrounds. You must be able to drive a compact tractor. This is a paid position, Hours are 5pm-11pm.

The Madison County Ag Society has been working very hard to prepare for the 2026 Fair. We can not wait for the fairgrounds to be filled with the sounds of 4-H animals, petting zoo, carnival rides, rodeo, concerts and of course all the people!
We are excited to share that we have been working to fill our commercial building during the week of the fair! We currently have over 15 vendors, tables for eating in the A/C and baby changing area.
Some confirmed vendors are Rhode Boutique, Complete Air System, Pure Home Health, Tis the Season, Scentsy, Watkins, Boots & Barbwire, 3D printing, Good H20 Craftworks, Stitching Grannies, Dragonfly Creations, Leather & Lace, Links by Lindsay with permanent jewelry, and Spilled Ink Tattoo providing real tattoos.
Make sure to keep following our social media as we are going to start sharing all of the exciting things you can see at the fair this summer! We can not wait for The Best Week in July!

Celebration 250 USA Anniversary
All exhibits in each department are related to the celebration of our country's anniversary.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS AMERICA'S 250TH ANNIVERSARY BIRTHDAY. TRY TO MAKE YOUR EXHIBITS FEATURE ON THIS SPECIAL OCCASTION.
Special Department Class All 250th exhibit types within each department are eligible for a special award commemorating the 250th Birthday of our country. America 250's mission is to celebrate and commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, marking America's Semi quincentennial.
We aim to inspire our fellow Americans to provide an exhibit that will reflect on our past, strengthen our love of country, and renew our commitment to the ideals of democracy through programs and exhibits that educate, engage, and unite us as a nation. America250 will foster shared experiences that spark imagination, showcase the rich tapestry of our American stories, inspire service in our communitites, honor the enduring strength, and celebrate the resillence of the United States of America.

Experience the inner workings of exhibits brought to the County Fair for showing to the community. Meet the exhibitors for the best presentiations of their many exquisite artistic productions. You will be helping each with placement of their exhibits.
Open Class Superintendents are needed for the 2026 county fair. If you are interested in becoming a superintendent for the open class, please contact Les Schulz for all the details. You can reach him at 402-689-0607, send a text if no answer, OR email him at [email protected].
The Nebraska High-school rodeo was here in Madison this weekend. Had to catch a video of a bronc coming out of our new right hand chutes. The new setup here worked great and we are excited for our rodeo in July. Get your tickets and don't miss out on the Best Week in July!
We will be starting our rodeo nights out with WILD HORSE RACES and also adding ranch bronc to the lineup. Increased payouts for rough stock riders so if you know someone intrested tell them the good news. For entry and more info on wild horse races contact Chris Haake at 402-750-2808
