In the 10 years since we began, we have released 3 lo-fi concept albums and toured the state in a number of different venue types. Our 3rd official album, "Believe Me", is filled with a rich vibrant sound achieved from our numerous, impromptu collaborations and deeply rooted local histories. We have performed anywhere and everywhere, from solo acoustic shows in backgrounds of coffee shops, to DJin
g rooms of cross armed peers in their rural Wisconsin hometowns (which are all available on YouTube.) As did outsiders like Scott Walker, Gary Wilson, or Jandek; alethio finds their voice from reaching at great lengths, only able to gently grasp what is there, and not define what is true. It's taken a lot of growing to get here, and while their character has not changed, their playing has definitely gained strength and the poet inside has evolved. Having performed on stage with such classic indie acts as Deastro, Ryland Bouchard, Dr. Manhattan, pAt mAcdonald and Purgatory Hill, I Need Sleep, Emperor X, Pfeifer Sam, Everything, Now!, Catacombz, Ladybird, DJ Puffin, Joseph O'seph, and many more alethio is always going to bring you an experience. alethio pushes for transcendence, no matter what shape they find it in.Touring this Spring
