Happy International Traffic Light Day! Today, August 5th, is a day to recognize the importance of traffic lights in regulating traffic and ensuring road safety. The first electric traffic light was installed in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 5, 1914.

Staying engaged, connected, building internal and external communities, and strengthening our individual and national programs are at the heart of the LTAP/TTAP community. This can include participating in regional meetings, NLTAPA Google Groups, working with our FHWA Division Offices and state DOTs, and engaging with our advisory boards and customers.
