National Caribbean American Heritage Month is observed to celebrate the achievements, sacrifices, and cultural legacy of Caribbean immigrants and their descendants in the United States.

World Refugee Day is an international observance dedicated to honoring the strength, courage, and perseverance of refugees worldwide. Established by the United Nations, the day raises awareness about the plight of millions of people forced to flee their home countries due to conflict or persecution.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated annually to commemorate the end of chattel slavery. It specifically marks the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation and free the last enslaved Black Americans in the state.

The International Day for Countering Hate Speech is observed annually on June 18. Established by the UN General Assembly in July 2021, the day aims to promote intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and raise global awareness about the accelerating spread of hate speech and disinformation.
