Went to Pelahatchie Sunday to pick up some steaks.
Ends from a whole tenderloin…..$11.99 pound….cut them 2 inches thick…average was $12.00 per filet
I’m dry aging the whole ribeye….it was $10.99 per pound

Peach/jalapeño jam….. turned out so good. Can’t wait to try on goat cheese or maybe spread on free then wrapped and puff pastry
I used the pits and some peach skins that I had saved and put the freezer to make a peach simple syrup… Will make great peach tea
