Too many young people struggle to afford tuition, let alone the rising cost to rent an apartment or for food with Trump’s reckless tariffs. We need to re-commit state dollars to higher education so that young people trying to climb the economic ladder aren’t forced to take out the equivalent of a mortgage just to pursue an education.

We must expand Bucky’s Tuition promise to every campus in the state so that more Wisconsin students can afford to pursue their dreams.

The November election will be here before you know it! Go to myvote.wi.gov to easily register online before the midterm elections, and before you’re neck deep in midterm exams.

25 years ago, our country was forever changed. This morning, I am holding the victims, first responders, and all Americans close to my heart as we strive to build a more peaceful, loving, safe world for all.

In Wisconsin, our great public schools are an important part of building a state where everyone has the freedom to build a better life.

As Wisconsin kids start another year in our classrooms, let’s commit ourselves to pursuing solutions to make their classrooms the best learning environments in the country.

Thank you to all workers who make our society run, and to the unions that fought for all of us to have better wages, benefits, and working conditions.

I hope you enjoy some time to relax with loved ones today.

It's Labor Day Weekend! We have a lot to thank unions for, including weekends and the 40-hour work week.

But we have much more to do to support all workers, which is why, as I celebrate this weekend, I'll also be working on my pro-worker legislation to raise the minimum wage, crack down on abusive employment practices, and restoring collective bargaining rights. I intend to make Wisconsin a pro-worker state once again come January!

September is Su***de Prevention Month. Like so many of you, I know the pain of losing a loved one to su***de, and it's up to all of us to raise awareness about su***de and take action towards supporting people who may be struggling with thoughts of self-harm.

Help is always out there - we need to make sure the people who need it know where to go.

Call or text the 988 su***de and crisis lifeline, or find resources online at 988lifeline.org, if you or a loved one are struggling. You are loved and this world needs you in it.

Meeting with students at the Capitol during their building tour is one of my favorite things about being a state legislator!

I was delighted to talk with a local school's debate camp recently. We talked about how valuable listening is and what the challenges of serving in the legislature are. It was a great conversation — the future is bright with such engaged, informed young people growing up in our community!
