Happy National Intern Day!

This summer, we're fortunate to have three talented young professionals who help advance our mission while gaining valuable real-world experience of their own. Please join us in recognizing:

🌟 Berrin R., 2nd Year Intern, Freshman at the University of North Carolina
🌟 Rohan D., 1st Year Intern, Freshman at University of Wisconsin-Madison

So far, some of their summer workload has included:
⛳ Connecting with supporters and business leaders at the WMC Foundation Golf Outing
📝 Helping prepare for and facilitate Business World Summer Camp
👥 Supporting students, volunteers, and staff during camp activities
💻 Updating our teacher database and preparing for the upcoming school year

Our interns play an important role in helping us inspire Wisconsin's future workforce, and we couldn't be more thankful for the talent they bring to the team. Join us in celebrating them this National Intern Day!

Each year, our Business World campers step out of the classroom and into Wisconsin businesses. These tours give students a firsthand look at the variety of careers, technologies, and industries that power Wisconsin's economy, and seeing business in action helps connect classroom concepts with real-world opportunities.

Over the next few days, 88 students from across the state will step into the role of business leaders—creating new products, building business models, hearing from CEOs and executives, touring Wisconsin businesses, and developing skills that will help shape their future careers.

We can't wait to watch their ideas, teamwork, and confidence grow throughout the week.

💡Innovation Competition: Upload a creative presentation featuring a new Kwik Trip product/service idea, explaining why Kwik Trip should put it in their stores.

💡"Why Wisconsin" Essay Contest: In an essay of no more than 1,000 words, describe an example of an impact a Wisconsin business has had on you or your community showing how business is a force for good!

This Memorial Day, we honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their bravery and dedication have secured the freedoms and opportunities we cherish. We are grateful.

This week, we wrapped up our 2025-2026 school year programming. At these MINI Business World events, students learn about Wisconsin industry, the power of entrepreneurship, and how business is a force for good.

In this school year, our team worked with more than 5,000 students from all corners of the state, partnering with school districts, CESAs, local manufacturers, colleges, local chambers, and educators. Thank you to all the sponsors who make this programming possible!

ANNOUNCING: the winners of our Kwik Trip Innovation Competition!

These three students each created and presented a marketing plan for a new product to be sold in Kwik Trip stores, and went above and beyond to demonstrate their innovation, creativity, and problem-solving.
