And we have a table runner! So naturally I hung it on the wall. I had so much more fun with the binding than normal and I love how cute this turned out. Now if spring could just stick around we’d be all set.

Phew - it’s done! I’ve been thinking about this idea for a long time and am so excited to share my little spring time geometric flower mini quilt! I’ll be submitting this to a local contest this week - first time entering anything - and it will be cool to see my work hanging on the gallery wall. This was the most complicated quilting pattern I’ve attempted and it was definitely a bit frustrating but happy I made it.

Most Loved Quilt
This is the only quilt that I’ve made and kept (so far). It’s the 2nd quilt I ever finished - it’s extra long to cover my husbands feet - it lives in our living room and is usually being occupied by 4 or more paws.
All of these pictures feature my girl Sheba who I miss so much and love remembering all of the amazing snuggles with her under and over this quilt.

Favorite Part
Some things just don’t go your way, and quilting (like the part where you sandwich the s**t and stitch it all together) is always that way for me.
The prompt is favorite part but I’m reversing it because everything is my favorite except for this. I am not good at it (yet). I think that actually quilting my projects ruins them and I put it off as long as I can.
Today is a very frustrating day. My is not in the ditch, even after running out and buying a fancy foot. My top is puckering. I have stabbed myself with the … again.
Time for a break!

Quilts of Significance
This quilt was a wedding gift from a few of my husband’s aunts, including the one who taught me to quilt! It means so much to us that they took the time to make us this beautiful blanket in our wedding colors.

Fabric Storage
Most of my fabric lives on this IKEA shelf. Anything over a half yard is folded and stacked, by fabric type/collection/or color. Of course it gets unorganized as I work on fabric pulls and am not super a**l about putting things back in the right spot.
Fat quarters folded and lined up in some old boxes. And anything under a fat quarter is stashed away in the gray bins at the bottom.

Paper piecing scraps from my next project. Which - I have to say - I am really loving.

I got a travel cribbage board as a gift last year, and yesterday I made a cute little sleeve to store it in our dusty house.
