Do you have dance costumes sitting in a closet from seasons past? Instead of letting them gather dust, you can help another dancer shine on stage.

Madison Contemporary Dance is collecting gently used dance costumes to support our new Costume Lending Library, which helps keep dance accessible for all families in our community.

💛 Your donation helps other dancers
Costumes can be expensive, and not every family can afford them. Your donation allows a child to perform with confidence and feel like they truly belong on stage.

🌎 It’s good for the planet
Dance costumes are often worn only once or twice. By donating, you’re helping keep beautiful costumes out of landfills and giving them many more performances.

💵 It’s tax-deductible
Madison Contemporary Dance is a nonprofit, so your costume donation can be claimed as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

📦 We are collecting now through April 1 for our spring concert.

✨ BIG NEWS! ✨ We are excited to share that Madison Contemporary Dance’s Costume Lending Library is officially opening at Rosy Cheeks Dancewear in Monona!

We are collecting donations now through April 1 to prepare for our after-school programs’ Spring Concert in May. Tax-deductible donation receipts available.
Schools, Teams, Studios, individual families - you may donate gently used costumes anytime during normal business hours!

These donations will help us build a community Costume Lending Library open to dance teams, studios, community groups, and independent dancers. We’ll offer low-cost and free rentals, with free options specifically available for dancers and families facing financial barriers. Your contributions directly support equitable access to high-quality dance experiences for youth across Dane County. 💛

Synergy Dance Team Auditions are tomorrow May 17th — we’re excited to see all the talent walk through our doors!

Mini Team (ages 5–8) & Junior/Pre-Teen (ages 9–11):
🕙 10:00–10:45 AM

Teen/Senior Team (ages 12+):
🕚 11:00–11:45 AM

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent meetings will be held during each audition time.
