The first full days of Spring Training are underway at Wayland Academy in beautiful Beaver Dam, WI. The 2026 Madison Scouts are taking shape, one day at a time, one rep at a time.

Madison Scout Elie Wendinger created the Fleur Heart Health Awareness Tumbler in memory of her brother, who passed away unexpectedly at age 17 from an undiagnosed enlarged heart.

What began as a personal tribute has become a way to help others. Through this design, Elie hopes to raise awareness about the importance of heart health and support research dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating congenital heart defects. All net proceeds from tumbler sales will be donated to The Children's Heart Foundation.

Starting in 1938, C.H. Beebe brought the Scouts to Camp Tichora, not far from where we train today. The corps would learn how to lead, serve, work, and live together. Eighty-eight years later, the tradition continues.

This week at Wayland Academy, our percussion and color guard sections got an early start before the full corps arrives on Wednesday for Spring Training. It starts here, it starts now!

Opening Night is Quickly Approaching!

On June 27, Breese Stevens Field celebrates 100 years with Field of Drums—featuring the first public performance of the 2026 Madison Scouts.

Joining the night: Black Star Drum Line, UW Band, Sound of Sun Prairie, Handphibians, Panchromatic Steel, Beni Daiko, and more.
