🚀 Huge congratulations to gener8tor Butler Accelerator for Education & Workforce Innovation Spring 2024 alum imagi on closing an oversubscribed $4.5M seed round!
imagi is building the safe education layer between AI tools and K-12 schools, giving students supervised, curriculum-aligned access to frontier AI, and giving teachers the guardrails to confidently bring AI into the classroom.
The traction speaks for itself: more than 700,000 students across 140 countries, with teacher registrations up 1,200% year over year and student registrations up 2,300% year over year.

Ligament and soft tissue injuries are notoriously difficult to repair, with existing biomaterials often falling short on the biomechanical and biological performance needed for lasting recovery. Pooyan Vahidi Pashaki, Ph.D. is building a better approach through Elevate BioTech, part of our gBETA Fargo Late Fall 2025 cohort.
The startup is developing next-generation biomaterials designed to support and enhance ligament and soft tissue repair, alongside AI-driven tools for the surgical room that use patient-specific data to guide procedures and reduce complications, giving surgeons smarter solutions and patients better healing outcomes.
Today, the team continues advancing its platform with the goal of transforming tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, combining advanced manufacturing, AI-powered analytics, and even space research applications to shape the future of surgical care.
