We are proud to celebrate our partner school, Girls College Organization (GCO), as they recently held a graduation ceremony for the first cohort of Afghan girls who completed their program through Forward International Academy.

Through our partnership, Girls College and FIA provide students with access to an accredited American high school education, allowing graduates to earn a fully accredited high school diploma and expand their opportunities for higher education around the world.

Founded in 2022, Girls College Organization has been dedicated to empowering Afghan female students through quality education and meaningful academic opportunities. Today, approximately 350 students are enrolled in the program, and GCO continues to provide a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment for girls in Afghanistan.

Between August and September 2026, 135 students are expected to graduate, with 20 students already completing their programs.

Congratulations to these graduates on this incredible achievement! We are honored to partner with Girls College and celebrate the determination, resilience, and bright futures of these students.

We are currently putting together a book dedicated to highlighting the lived experiences, resilience, and stories of girls and women in Afghanistan.
