Here at TimberNook, we help kids flourish by giving them the time, space, and opportunity to dive deep into child-directed play.

We host field trip for all types of groups - preschool, daycare, youth groups, and K-8 groups. We have something to offer all ages. Field trips are available year-round in every season!

🌲✨ What a first day of Wild Ones! ✨🌲

Today, the woods came alive with creativity, kindness, imagination, and FUN as our TimberNook Wild Ones began creating their very own Roxaboxen!

With loose parts, costumes, props, sticks, stones, and a whole lot of imagination, the kids transformed the woods into a world that belonged completely to them. 🪵🏡👑

They built their bases, created characters and stories, negotiated ideas, helped one another, solved problems, and—most importantly—played.

We watched children who had just met become collaborators. We saw kindness in the little moments, creativity in the unexpected places, and confidence grow as kids realized, “I can make this. I can decide. I can create.”

This is what we mean when we say reclaim childhood. ❤️

Not perfectly organized activities.
Not adults directing every move.
But time, space, nature, and the freedom to turn a pile of sticks into an entire world.

There’s something extra magical about Halloween in the woods—where imagination takes the lead and a stick can become a wand, a pile of leaves can become a monster’s lair, and muddy puddles become part of the adventure.

Bring your little ones, ages 1–6, to TimberNook for a Halloween-themed day designed just for our tiniest explorers! 🕷️🍂

They’ll have the freedom to climb, dig, create, pretend, get messy and PLAY alongside their grown-up—with plenty of opportunities for sensory exploration, imagination and connection.

No perfectly coordinated crafts.
No sitting still.
No pressure to “do it right.”

Just little bodies moving, big imaginations growing, and childhood unfolding outdoors. ❤️
