Bloom Looks Good On You!!!

We have some new Bloom gear and we’re pretty excited to finally share it with you!

There are new t-shirts, a Bloom hat, and a tote bag featuring the mural you know from the exterior of the bakery. Our shirt design was created by Nate Checots, one of our very own bakers, and the mural artwork on our tote is by Jenny Flack | Artist/Muralist , two very talented people we’re so happy to have represented in this collection.

We just love the idea of seeing a little more Bloom out and about in the world. ✨

Everything is available for preorder up on our website, now through Tuesday, October 6. We’ll place our order after preorders close, and everything will be ready for pickup at Bloom Bake Shop, 1851 Monroe Street, beginning November 2.

Monroe Street Farmers' Market

Evening friends… Annemarie here. I’ll be honest, it feels a little bit crazy and a LOT surreal to be posting jobs for another beautiful space in our community. But here I am, calling all folks who love to work their a** off creating delicious food and taking the very best care of anyone who walks through our doors.
In less than a month, we’ll be opening the doors to Waltzing Matilda’s, a delightful and delicious breakfast and lunch café, and by December, that same space will become a relaxing w**e bar at night, with small plates, good drinks and plenty of reasons to linger. All on the street I call home. A block from our beloved bakery, , and our lovely French restaurant,
I moved here 20 years ago, a bit skeptical of the Midwest. Now I couldn’t be a bigger advocate. I am so proud to call Madison my city. My home. The place where I’ve built a life, raised my family, grown businesses and given a whole lot of my heart. And now I’m looking for more good humans to build this next beautiful space with us.
If you’re simply looking for a job, we probably aren’t your place.
We are looking for people who get a thrill from working HARD. Who are curious and kind. Who are learn-it-alls, not know-it-alls. Who notice the little things. Who want to get better at what they do. And who get genuinely filled up by making someone’s day a little better, brighter and more delicious. Because that’s what this work is about to me. That’s what this work is about for our WHOLE team. And damn, do we have a great team.
Great food matters. Beautiful spaces matter. Getting the details right matters. But the people beside you, and the people you get to take care of every day, matter most.

Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown this Friday, September 11, and we’ll be baking some of our favorite things to welcome a sweet new year. Our honey-sweetened challah crowns will be back in both plain and golden raisin, along with our beautiful honey spice cake.

If you’d like Bloom at your holiday table, be sure to place your preorder by tomorrow evening. We’d love to bake for you! Ordering window closes Tuesday evening for pick up Friday, September 11th and Wednesday evening for pick up Saturday, September 12th.

There’s something pretty great about sharing a table. And at Northstreet, we get to share a whole lot more than that.
We’re pretty lucky to share our space with our friends at Cafe Domestique , which means you can grab your Bloom favorite and have some really good coffee alongside it. Or, apparently, several Bloom favorites. We fully support this decision. 😉

Mostly, we’re just grateful for the community that has grown around this shared space. Cafe Domestique, our Northstreet neighbors, and all of you who walk through the doors and make it what it is. We really like it here.
